Construction Litigation
Demler, Armstrong & Rowland has, on behalf of both insurers and self-insureds, successfully represented general contractors and subcontractors in negligence, strict liability and indemnity actions arising out of allegedly defective conditions on numerous construction projects. In addition, the firm has had a large measure of success in working with insurance carriers to control litigation costs in large construction defect cases where the potential attorneys' fees often far exceed the amount of damages being sought in the litigation. Such measures include handling select litigation on a flat fee basis, carefully monitoring discovery and expert witness costs, and aggressively pursuing alternative dispute resolution.
